- Tried out a new restaurant in the neighborhood Friday night. It’s Starlite Cantina, a mexican restaurant, that was converted from an old McDonalds. The food and margaritas were good and inexpensive. They also had live jazz on the (former playground) patio.

- Celebrated Father’s Day / our anniversary with Barry’s parents at Loafing Leprechaun in Duluth. Pretty tasty… those chips are addictive.

- Yesterday was our first wedding anniversary. Hard to believe it’s been a year already. We spent the day at the Atlanta Botanical Garden (neither of us had been before) and went out to dinner at Veni Vidi Vici (hadn’t been there either). At the end of the day we drank champagne and ate some of our wedding cake that had been in deep freeze for a year… it was actually ok, a little dry but good. The day was great and I can’t wait to celebrate a lifetime of anniversaries together! (Awww… )

They just opened a Loafing Leprechaun near my place and you’re right, those chips are addictive. Cool place. Good food. Lori intends on dragging me to the karaoke night… scary.
